Happy Mother’s Day to those of you who have loving and healthy parent/child relationships. I hope your day is full of flowers, chocolates, Sunday lunch and joy.
Some of us find today more difficult, because mum is no longer here, because we don’t know who mum is, because we wanted to be but never were a mum or because we didn’t have a loving and healthy relationships. Perhaps for us, today is about finding peace with the past and appreciating that it is just one day.
Which ever applies, I wish you peace and happiness today. I’m off to buy myself some chocolates.
