A ruffled mind makes a restless pillow - Charlotte Bronte

There are lots of things you can do to improve your sleep, Here are some of my personal favourites:

Familiarity:

I find it really helpful to go to bed at a similar time each night and have to a routine. for self-care in preparing for bed. .

Avoid electronics:

Switch of the tv and put down your phone about an hour before you go to bed.

Relax:

Before bed, a warm bath or shower can be really helpful, or perhaps a scented candle - but make sure you extinguish it!

Once you are in bed, use something to help you relax. Guided meditations are a favourite of mine. I use YouTube, and I just search for 'Guided Meditation - Sleep' or 'Guided Meditation - Peace'. Sometimes I just listen to sounds, searching 'Rain' or 'Water'. 'White noise' is really helpful for some.

The NHS publish some really helpful guidance

But if none of these help, how would I help you as a Clinical Hypnotherapist?
